I have QB SimpleStart. In past years I've always run the Transaction Detail by Account report. Today I cannot find it anywhere. Anyone know where it went?

Hi studio915design!

Hope you're having a good day! I'll provide information about the report you mentioned.

Transaction Detail by Account is only available in the Essentials, Plus, and Advanced plans. You can refer to this article: Reports included in your QuickBooks Online subscription. See the For my Accountant section.

You may have downgraded your subscription to Simple Start. If you wish to upgrade, you can follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as a primary or company admin.
  2. Select Settings ⚙ and then Account and settings.
  3. Select the Billing & subscription tab.
  4. Make sure your payment info is up-to-date.
  5. In the QuickBooks Online section, select Upgrade your plan.
  6. Review the available plans and then select Choose plan.
  7. Follow the on-screen steps to upgrade your plan.

Let me know if you need more help with your report. Take care and happy weekend!

Thank you very much, JessT. This is not the answer I wanted but it is an answer. It would be ridiculous for me to pay $55/mo just to have access to this one simple report I need annually. In fact, it's ridiculous that I'm paying $30/mo for the little bit of bookkeeping I'm doing. I've been with QB since 2005 but each year I grow more disillusioned with the product and price as it continues to make my work harder. Looks like this is the end. Goodbye, cruel Quickbooks!
