Banking & Currency
Hi Whirlwind_86,
Welcome to the Community. It's essential set up multi-currency to keep track of your books. QuickBooks Online is a great program that gives you the ability to simply track your sales and expenses. I'd be glad to help.
When you enable multicurrency. the home currency cannot be changed. It's important to determine your home currency before enabling this option. If you have the correct home currency, I encourage you to review this article on how to assign a foreign currency to a customer in QuickBooks Online.
At this time, the program doesn't offer the option to change currency for existing customers. If you'd like to include this option in QuickBooks, I recommend that you send us Feedback by clicking on the Gear icon at the top. This is sent to our Development Team to consider for future updates.
If there is no option to assign the currency to new customers, I encourage you to clear your browser cache and cookies. They can prevent the system from functioning effectively. You can refer to the following steps to perform browser troubleshooting.
- Clear browser cache.
- Try in a private browser window.
- Use another browser type.
- Make sure you're using supported browsers.
- Turn off any ad and popup blockers temporarily.
If the steps provided above don't work, I recommend that you contact our customer support team. They will be able to take a closer look at this. Here are some options available to reach out to our team.
- Phone: Call us at 1-855-253-1536 from Monday to Friday between the hours of 9 AM and 8 PM EST.
- Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
