Welcome and thanks for posting in the Community, @support40.
When importing CSV files for credit card (CC) accounts such as PayPal may display transactions in reverse. To ensure that they will be posted correctly, you must select the corresponding CC account (not a bank account) in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Here's how:
- In QBO, go to the Banking menu at the left pane to get to the Banking page.
- Select File upload at the right, then tick Browse.
- Pick the file you downloaded from your bank.
- Click Open, then Next.
- In the QuickBooks Account drop-down list, choose the credit card account then Next.
- Select a Date, date format, Description, and Account, then Next again.
- Pick the checkboxes of the transactions to import and hit Next.
- Click Yes and Let's go! once completed.
