Banking
Hi there. I'll share some steps to help you resolve your bank image concern in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
To start, could you tell me the name of the bank you're having a problem with? That information is helpful so I can check if there are any maintenance issues between them and QBO.
In the meantime, let's perform some troubleshooting steps as it could be related to your web browser. We can start by accessing your QBO account through an incognito mode. This does not store cache which has the potential to become corrupted and cause unexpected behavior.
Below are the shortcut keys you can use:
- Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
- Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
- Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + N
- Safari: press Command + Shift +N
Once signed in, check if you can now see the check images. If this works, go back to your regular browser and clear the cache to eliminate the piled-up data that can cause the issue. If the same thing happens, I recommend using another supported browser or device. Might be that the current one you're using has a temporary issue with the program.
For reference, check this article: Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online.
However, if the issue persists, I suggest reaching out to our Phone support team to further investigate the root cause of why you can't see the bank images. Once connected, you can request a screen share session so they can review your account's setup.
It's also recommended to reconcile your account regularly to ensure the amounts match your real-life bank statements.
You can always count on me if you have other concerns about managing your bank accounts. Just post a comment below and I'll get back to help you.
