Employees and payroll

Hi there, @Ruth4.

Thank you for getting back to me and letting me know the outcome of the steps provided by my colleague. Allow me to help share some additional solutions to get this straightened out.

To start, let's check the settings on your computer to make sure it displays all pages properly. QuickBooks Online requires these settings:

  • Screen resolution set to 1024x768 or higher
  • Dots-per-inch (DPI) set to "Normal" or "100%"

After that, please refer to the steps below to change the font size in your browser:

  1. On the upper right, go to the menu icon (looks like a three-dotted line).
  2. Locate the Zoom option.
  3. Choose the plus (+) icon to zoom in and make the page larger. It should be set to 100% or lower to display the full page.

Please take note that this will work on any page that's either too big or too small, not just QuickBooks Online.

If you get the same results, let's perform a few troubleshooting steps to verify if this has something to do with your browser’s cache. A typical browser uses a cache of memory to work efficiently and load pages faster, but as data collects it can cause unexpected results.

You can start signing in to QuickBooks using a private browser. The steps vary per browser used:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P

If the private browsing session works fine, you'll need to go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. You can check this article for the steps: How do I clear the temporary Internet files and cache?

That should answer your concern for today. Get back to me and let me know how it goes, I’m always here to help. Have a good one!
