Employees and payroll
Thanks for joining the thread, @bt2. I'm here to ensure that your employee receives the Workforce invitation email.
Many factors can prevent your employee from receiving the email. It could be that the email is in their junk or spam folder or blocked by their mail servers. To rectify this, have them double-check these two factors.
If the email wasn't there, you can resend the invite to help fix the issue. Just have the employee accept it right away since the email is valid for up to 30 days only. Also, make sure to double-check the email address of your employee before sending it to ensure it is sent to the right person. Here's how:
- Sign in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
- Click Payroll from the left menu, then select Employees.
- Choose the employee you need to resend the invitation to.
- Go to the Personal Info section.
- Next to We’ve invited [employee] to view their pay stubs and W-2s online with QuickBooks Workforce section, select Revoke Access.
- Then, edit the employee’s email address and select Resend Invite.
- Click Done.
After resending the invitation, your employee will receive a new invitation. I'm adding this article for more guidance: Invite your employees to QuickBooks Workforce to see pay stubs, W-2s, and more.
You might also want to provide this article to your employees: View your paychecks and W-2s in QuickBooks Workforce. This will help them see their paychecks, W-2s, and personal info in Workforce.
