Thanks for following the suggested troubleshooting, @Pam1964. Since that didn't work, I have another steps to resolve the issue.
First off, let's make sure your QuickBooks is updated to the latest release.
Here's how:
- Close your company files and QuickBooks.
- Open the Windows Start menu, then search for QuickBooks Desktop. Right-click the icon and select Run as administrator.
- While on the No Company Open screen, go to the Help menu and select Update QuickBooks Desktop.
- Go to the Options tab.
- Select Mark All and then select Save.
- Go to the Update Now tab and select the Reset Update checkbox.
- When you're ready, select Get Updates.
Once done, backup your data file, then create a portable copy. Format your USB flashdrive first to make sure it isn't corrupted before saving the portable copy.
