• You'll have greater migration success if you have a QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) version release or higher: 2022 R5. Ensure to upgrade your version release is up-to-date before migrating your data.
• If the file exceeds the target limit (750,000) it can't be converted to QuickBooks Online. But you can condense your data to minimize your targets before migrating it. If it doesn't work, your only option is, you can import lists and balances into QuickBooks Online, or utilize an online migration tool.

On the other hand, you mentioned earlier that you don't see the built-in conversion tool. For QBDT Enterprise, our developers keyed the steps to migrate your data. Please follow my directions below:

1. Sign in as an admin to the desktop company file you want to move.
2. On your keyboard, press Ctrl + 1 to open the Product Information window.
3. Press Ctrl + B + Q, then select OK to display the export window.
4. On the export window, select Get started.
5. Sign in as an admin to your QuickBooks Online company.
6. Select Choose online company, then select the QuickBooks Online company you want to replace with your company file.
7. Select Continue.
8. If you track inventory in QuickBooks Desktop:
   • Select Yes to bring them over, then specify the as of date.
     Note: Use the first day after your last tax filing period as your inventory start date.
   • Select No if you want to set up new items later in QuickBooks Online.
9. Enter “Agree” in the text field, then select Replace.
10. Select Yes, go ahead and replace the data, then select Replace.

Thank you for the response to my question.  If my only option is to stay with my current version of Quickbooks (and not update to the latest version of Quickbooks Desktop), will the stand alone conversion tool work?  I don't have payroll, inventory, taxes, invoices, sales, etc.  It's strictly general ledger transactions (less than 74k total targets).

I am trying to migrate from QuickBooks Premier Noprofit Edition 2023 Release R10P (64-Bit), to Quickbooks Online, using the QBO tools , the data gets transferred  but not the attachments (Invoices/Bills), Is there a way to get this done either through QuickBooks or an external provider?
