I'll help you fix that, srg623.
The error message you received may indicate a problem with the integrity of your data. In order to identify and isolate the issue, we suggest starting with a verification and rebuilding function. This process will scan your company files for any errors or data damages.
To ensure a higher level of data integrity and minimize the risk of undetected issues, we recommend running and rebuilding data three times.
If the issue persists, you can run the QuickBooks File Doctor. To do this, first download and install the most recent version of QuickBooks Tool Hub from 1.4.0.0. This tool can help fix common errors. Once the download is complete, open the file (QuickBooksToolHub.exe) and follow the on-screen instructions to install the program.
After installation, double-click the icon on your Windows desktop to open the tool hub. To get the most out of your QuickBooks File Doctor experience, we recommend using it on Windows 10, 64-bit. When you're ready, follow these steps to run the Quick Fix my File utility:
- From the tool hub, select the Company File Issues tab.
- Select Quick Fix my File.
- Click OK, then launch your QuickBooks.
After the scan finishes, open QuickBooks and your company file. Please take note that your issue may have been resolved even if the scan says it was unsuccessful. To learn more about this process, I encourage reading this guide: Fix company file and network issues with QuickBooks File Doctor.
