While attempting to E-File T3 Slips the screen that shows the Account Number & Web Access Code is not auto populating as it does when I e-file T4's or T5.
I am using version 2021.3.0 (newest version)
Other files types (T4, T5 etc. auto populate and e-file without issue)
EFILE -> OPTIONS -> T3/FX -> TRANSMITTER: Shows Transmitter Number, Account Number & Web Access Code filled in as it should be. (Web Access Code is hidden, so I can't cut and paste).
Is there another way of getting a web access code? The CRA online access code page is giving me an error message https://apps.cra-arc.gc.ca/ebci/leb0/wacretrieve/prot/WdywtdPage.action
The same is happening to me. My work around is to create the xml file, and then go to CRA's internet file transfer (https://apps.cra-arc.gc.ca/ebci/leb0/upload/pub/disclaimer.action?request_locale=en) and submit that way. Its an extra step, but I figured it was probably quicker than waiting on hold with Tech Support
Maybe I'm missing a step?
This is what it looks like for me. We use our company account number and WAC and transfer our client
T3 files that way.

For 2021 and later:
-T3 Return electronic filing is E-filing: a CRA issued e-file number and password are required
- T3 Slip filing is XML transfer, requiring a transmitter number, Business/ Trust account number and matching Web Access Code, (WAC). All three of these are issued by CRA.
Entries for business number and WAC entered in Efile > Options do not populate the CRA XML server log in screen. Manual entry is required

Duncan, the issue is the fields do not even come up to be able to enter this information to submit the T3 slip and summary. It creates the XML, the shows the path where the xml file is, and then that is it. No other screens appear within profile. I must then open a web browser, login, find the file and then submit.

There is not a ProFile error that would prevent the CRA XML server login screen to not appearing. It is more likely an issue with your computer environment. If you call us a 1-800-452-9970 an Expert could assist

I don't have a web access code. I tried the CRA online access code retriever page, but it is giving me an error message https://apps.cra-arc.gc.ca/ebci/leb0/wacretrieve/prot/WdywtdPage.action. Is there another way of getting a web access code?

WAC are also available by calling the CRA business enquiry line at 1-800-959-5525
