Request a callback from QuickBooks Online support

The callback feature allows you to request a phone call from QuickBooks Online support instead of waiting on hold. Once you enter your contact information, a support agent contacts you directly within a few minutes.

Availability and eligibility

This feature is available for the following customers:

• QuickBooks Online for Accountants (QBOA) customers
• QuickBooks Online (QBO) customers

Note: This feature is not available for QuickBooks Desktop Pro, Premier, or Enterprise customers. If you have a Desktop product, visit the Contact Us page for support options.

Request a callback

Follow these steps to reserve your spot in the support queue.

1. Select Help (?) in the top-right corner of your QuickBooks product.
2. Enter your issue in the search bar (for example, "update credit card") and review the results.
3. Select Contact Us if you don’t find a solution in the search results.
4. Select Get a callback on the "Ways we can Connect" menu.
5. Enter your contact information and select Call me.
6. Select Close this window. Closing the window won't cause you to lose your spot in the queue.

Scheduled callback for Platinum and Elite customers

QuickBooks Online Platinum and Elite customers can pre-schedule appointments with the accountant phone support team.

• Requirement: You must indicate who you are, the primary question you are contacting the team about, and the specific date and time you wish to be contacted.
• Elite ProAdvisors: This feature replaces full-slate, scheduled service appointments, but you continue to receive expedited, priority service.

Important notes

• Direct lines only: You must use a direct phone number. Phone numbers that require an extension are not supported.
• Productivity: This feature allows you to continue working while you wait for an agent, rather than remaining on hold.
