EFILE the T106 return in ProTax

ProTax users can electronically file (EFILE) the T106 - Information Return of Non-arm’s Length Transactions with Non-Residents in the T2 module.

The T106 return can undergo EFILE before or after filing the T2 return.

EFILE the T106 return

1. Open the T2 tax return to be filed.
2. Select Add new form or letter to add the T106Supp and T106 Summ forms.
3. Complete the forms and clear any pending auditor messages.
4. Select T106 from the EFILE dropdown.
5. Enter the EFILE number and password, and then select Accept and file return.

ProTax displays a confirmation number if the return transmits successfully. Retain this number for your records.

ProTax displays the errors identified by the CRA if the return transmission is unsuccessful. Correct any errors and resubmit the return.
