I manually lock my returns after it has been transmitted to CRA. My client would like for me to Refile the return but I cannot modify it as the file is locked. I've referred to the User Guide and checked for available updates but to no avail.
Help!
Have you tried going to File - Properties and unclicking the "Locked" box which shows beside Client Status on the T1 File properties screen?
Also verify the conditions in options module, by exemple, if EFILE status Accepted is checked, the return will be locked when the status changes to Accepted

Yes, I've tried that method (as per User Guide). Thought to reach out just in case there was a fix someone knew of.
I eventually reinstalled the program and restarted on both my desktop & laptop. Seemed to have fixed the issue.
