It opens with partial page shown on the screen until hitting the keyboard's HOME & END (not even PAGE UP/DOWN keys) a few times. No issue there on the printed page, the 2019 tax files nor the T2 ones. Is it just mine?
Just installed the new version. No such issue.
In my case, this affects all other clients' Tax Summary page (only 2020 year though) BUT not other pages at all. Very strange!
I just checked T1 Summary, Tax Summary and T1 Jacket-no problems whatsoever, all forms open correctly and I can see everything.
I have had the similar situation. It's happening in some machines, only in 2020. It shows in "+: Maximized" mode but not into regular screen. I am profile profile will fix it in the next update, I have been experiencing this right after the 2020.3.0. I have called the profile support and the agent initially didn't know what "Summary" page is and then wasted my time taking screen shots and all that and then said may be your windows is not updated, love profile but customer support is not up to the standard.
I experienced the same thing on all machines in the office, it is the F10 summary page, the one that shows both spouses returns side by side. We use it so much to determine the best credit options.
I contacted support, who again, did not even know what the form was and had to access my computer to find out the form I was talking about, after about 25 minutes she said I needed to do a windows update, I believe she was grasping at straws.
I did not have time on a crazy Friday to update 25+ machines, so we waited until today when we are closed. SURPRISE, it did nothing and I still have a blank page, if you scroll to the top, you see only the heading that says 2020 Summary, then a very very long blank page.
Also having issues printing the comparative summary, I am going to start another post about it.
Hopefully at some point a PROFILE TEAM member will respond to the thread.
We use it in every single return to see the years scenario. We cannot wait till the end of March to fix it.
"... Also having issues printing the comparative summary..."
The 2020 year has the 1st page mainly with the heading :Comparative Tax Summary (Federal) only. And 2nd page shows the rest of the remaining data. No good.
I am having the same problem. The chat agent said to "restart" Profile which did nothing. SO frustrating!!!
Although I almost never print the Comparative Tax Summary, I just did--unfortunately, page 1 shows just the heading and is blank otherwise, only page 2 shows the actual summary. However, 2020 Tax Summary printed on just one page. I wish I could help more...
I found today that if you print the blank page it actually prints, you just cant see it on the screen !!!!!! So it does print, its a pain, because I like to look at both spouses return side by side to determine best outcome and this is more cumbersome, timely and costly but at least a solution.
Still no reply from support on this string, they don't have the answer.
Hi, thank you for using Intuit ProFile Community
There have been reports of issues with both the Summary and the Comparative summary. These issues are under investigation with the product development team for resolution in a future update. ProFile 2020.3.5 will be released early March: resolutions may be in that update if possible
I apologize for the inconvenience but hope this helps
i tried this with the blank Summary page. It does print although shows blank on screen but has watermark "Trial Page " across it
Hi, thank you for using Intuit ProFile Community
Issues with the Summary and Comparative forms will be resolved in 2020.3.5, targeted for release early March 2021.
I apologize for the inconvenience but hope this helps
Just as a further note: if you were a trial user, remove the trial license after full license is entered: if using to test other modules, remove the trial while printing, then reenter it after printing
Hope this helps
We have updated to 2020.3.5, and while the comparative print issue seems to have been resolved, the one station that had issues with the T1Summary display continues to have the summary display issue when in minimized display. The right hand side of the screen (non-refundable credits, total payable, & total credits sections display farther down below and to the right of the total, net and taxable income sections. Only one machine out of 14 has this issue, and we cannot determine why this is.
