Manage your Intuit Account online
by Intuit•216• Updated 5 days ago
Your Intuit Account is a universal user account that provides access to most Intuit sites and applications using the same user ID and password. Once signed in, you can view your orders, download products, and update your stored information.
Your account is typically created when you first purchase a product or service directly from Intuit online. If you choose not to create a unique User ID and Password during the purchase process, you will not be able to access your account information online.
Important: If you previously purchased Intuit products or services but never created a User ID and Password, you must contact support to associate your current products and services with a User ID and Password so you can access them online.
With your Intuit Account, you can make changes to:
- Payment method (such as debit or credit card expiration date).
- Account information (such as company address, phone number, and e-mail).
- Sign-in information (such as User ID, Password, and security question).
If you don't already have an Intuit Account, you can create one now.
Access and update your account
Your User ID is usually your e-mail address, but if you created your account a while ago, your User ID may be something different. You can use your Intuit User ID and Password to sign in to several Intuit websites, including Intuit.com, TurboTax.com, and QuickBooks Payroll. Once you sign in, you can purchase, view products and services, and download items you've already purchased.

- Go to quickbooks.com/account.

- Follow the steps to retrieve your Password or User ID.
- Try to log in again.
What if I no longer have access to my sign-up email?
If you no longer have access to the e-mail address associated with your account, please complete the required form, attach a copy of one of the indicated documents to verify your identity, and select Submit.
Is my Intuit Account User ID the same as my QuickBooks company file login?
Not typically. If you set up users in QuickBooks Desktop, the User ID and Password you use to access your company file is not the same as your Intuit Account User ID and Password, unless you purposely set it up that way.
