by Intuit Updated 2 months ago

Bank errors 162 and 525 often happen if your bank merges with another bank. You'll likely have to change the way you access your accounts online. You may also get bank error 102 or bank error 108 during a merger.

If this happens, take the following steps to resolve the errors:

  1. Contact the new bank (the one currently holding your account) to verify the URL and log in to your account.
  2. Then, make sure you can access your accounts from the new site using the new credentials you were given. If not, contact the bank for help.
  3. In QuickBooks Online, disconnect the old account and reconnect using your new credentials.
