Unmatch transactions in QuickBooks Online mobile app

Learn how to undo matched bank transactions in QuickBooks Online mobile app.

Do you have an incorrectly matched transaction in QuickBooks? You can easily unmatch it in the QuickBooks Online mobile app. Just make sure your bank account is connected to QuickBooks Online. This way you can access your transactions in the app and make the changes. Here’s how.

  1. Sign in to the QuickBooks Online mobile app.
  2. On the Home page, tap Dashboard.
  3. Scroll down to the Account Balances section.
  4. Tap the account that needs changes.
  5. Tap In QuickBooks section.
  6. Tap Undo, then Confirm for each transaction you want to unmatch.

After you unmatch a transaction, you can match it again. Just do the same steps but select Match this time.
