Transfer billing from your accountant to you

by Intuit•1• Updated 2 weeks ago

You can transfer the billing of your QuickBooks Online subscription from your accountant to yourself. For example, you may need to transfer billing to yourself before switching to a new firm.

When you do this, we automatically notify your accountant.

Prerequisites

Before you transfer your billing, you'll need:

  • Primary admin user access. If you don’t have primary admin user access, ask the current primary admin to do so.
  • A payment method. This can be a credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover), direct debit, PayPal, or Automated Clearing House (ACH).
  • A US billing address (not including US territories) for your card. This doesn’t have to match the physical billing address in your QuickBooks settings.

You can only use one card per payment.
