View Email Anomaly Notifications on Mobile
by Intuit• Updated 4 weeks ago
If tracking is enabled in your email, we'll collect and analyze data on clicks and unsubscribes after you send. If your email performance drops or increases significantly, we'll alert you and offer quick guidance on what actions you can take. This type of monitoring is also known as Anomaly Detection.
In this article, you'll learn how to view email anomaly notifications on your mobile device.
Things to know
Here are some things to know.
- This article is about regular email reports. Search our guides and tutorials to learn about automation reports, comparative reports, and other types of reports in Mailchimp.
- Open and click tracking must be turned on in an email for us to be able to detect email anomalies.
- Anomaly Detection is included with Standard, Premium and Mailchimp Pro plans. To change your plan type, visit the plans page in your account.
- For now, you can use the Anomaly Detection feature only on the Mailchimp Mobile app.
How it works
The Mailchimp mobile app will send alerts if it detects unusual changes in email performance. This can help you quickly troubleshoot and take necessary action on the go.
When an unusual drop in email activity is detected, such as a decrease in click rates or increase in unsubscribes, or when your email performs better than expected, we'll send a notification to your mobile phone. If you've sent 1 email, we’ll send a single notification. For multiple emails, you’ll receive a summary notification.
You can then tap the notification to view relevant reports with specific details. The reports highlight anomalies in your sent email based on historical email data, allowing you to make changes and improve email engagement. You can adjust the notification send frequency to daily, weekly, or turn the notifications off.
