Why do I need to add my bank account?

When you connect your bank account to your profile in the QuickBooks Business Network through your QuickBooks Money account, we send your customer's payment through ACH. This is similar to a direct deposit.

You don’t need to wait for a check anymore or worry about a missing payment in the mail. You can track a customer's ACH payment from the estimated delivery date to deposit.

Which payments can I track in QuickBooks Money?

The QuickBooks Business Network makes it easy to monitor your incoming bill  payments in QuickBooks Money so you’ll know when to expect them.

You can check the status of your bill payments on the QuickBooks Business Network who pay you through QuickBooks Bill Pay.

What do I do if there’s a problem with my incoming payment?

If your payment failed, reach out to your customer/payor to find out why the payment hasn’t gotten to you.

It's up to you to keep your bank account active to receive payments. If your bank account changes, update it on your network profile page. Go to My Network and then Profile.

  • Paid - Payment for ACH transaction was successfully processed and completed. The payor side was debited and the payee side was credited.

I received a connection request. What does that mean?

Once you become a QuickBooks Money user, QuickBooks Online users can search for you in the QuickBooks Business Network and request to connect with you. If you accept the connection request, you'll share your business info and can track incoming bill payments.

Can I send a connection request to another member of the QuickBooks Business Network?

Once you sign up for QuickBooks Money we add you to the QuickBooks Business Network to receive connection requests from QuickBooks Online users. To search and send connection requests you can sign up for QuickBook Online.

What else can I do on the QuickBooks Business Network?

You can receive and accept network connections. When you accept a network connection, you’ll share your business info, track incoming bill payments and receive bill payments directly to your bank account from customers who pay you using QuickBooks Bill Pay.

How does the network connections page work?

A customer will send you a request to connect with them through QuickBooks Business Network. You’ll see connection requests through your email or go to My network and then Requests.

Once you accept the connection, you’ll share your business info and be able to receive and track bill payments from your customers. QuickBooks securely stores your bank info and doesn’t share this with your customers.

What information about my business do people see?

QuickBooks Business Network members can see your contact info. They’ll use this info  to find you and send you connection requests. Your customer-facing business email, phone number, and full address are partially masked until an invitation to connect is sent or accepted.

Once you approve the connection requests, your connections in the QuickBooks Business Network will see your company name, email address, address (city, state, and ZIP code), phone number and website.

Who can see information about my business?

Only QuickBooks users who sign in can search for you and view your masked profile through the network search. Your contact details can be seen only after you accept the invitation.

How can I edit my network profile?

You can access your network profile from the left navigation. Go go My Network and then select Profile.

You can see how your business shows on the network. This is where you can change your company name and your deposit account.

What happens if I don't want to accept someone's connection request?

You can reject a connection request and still receive a payment. If you reject the request, your customer (the bill payor) will need to manually enter your address for mailing checks or your banking info to process an ACH transaction. You won’t be able to track this payment.
