Learn how to use Glance to share your desktop with QuickBooks Support experts.
Glance lets experts view QuickBooks and your desktop. This helps with issues with things like file uploads and migration from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online.
QuickBooks experts use SmartLook to view QuickBooks in some instances.
How to use Glance
Follow the steps in this article only when requested by your QuickBooks Support expert:
- Go to glance.intuit.com. A zip download will auto-download.
- Select download to open, then select click here on glance.intuit.com to start Glance. Note: Glance might need permission to show your screen. If asked, follow the steps to grant them, then select Launch Glance on the webpage.
- Select Open Glance Guest.app when prompted.
- Give the code to your QuickBooks Support expert so they can join the Glance session.
