Greetings, @Scarlettfreeze.
I'll be happy to guide you through deleting existing users in QuickBooks Desktop. If your referring to User for Access Company File, you can follow the steps below:

- Then Delete
However, if you are referring to deleting a contact in an Intuit Account. Only the Primary Contact can delete a contact in an Intuit Account. If a Non-Primary contact tries to delete another contact, an error message will appear:
"Additional Action Required
Sorry, you don't have permission to remove this user because you aren't listed as the primary contact on this account. Ask Sam to remove this user, or contact us for more help with this."
To begin, have the primary contact do the following steps:
- Sign in to CAMPS website.
- Scroll down to Authorized Users and select the contact that needs to be deleted.

Account management
Hi, so I've been having trouble removing someone from my personal QB Intuit account. I finally resolved after sending in numerous personal ID documents, which i find i really not necessary. I removed them as a USER ID on my profile but they still can log on using their email address. I called Sept 9th to support to have this resolved and its Oct 7th and the person can still access.
Please advise the proper steps for that individual to follow to remove themselves from my account.
Thank you

Thanks for reaching out, lconti. I appreciate all the steps you have done so far to remove a user from your Intuit account. Let me provide you with steps to get this fixed.
After removing the user from your Intuit account, if they're still able to log in using the same credentials, I recommend double-checking CAMPS to ensure the user was removed successfully. If the user was removed properly and the issue persists, I suggest reaching out to our customer support team. They can internally assess your account and provide assistance using their tools. Here's how:
- Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
- Select Help (?).
- Select either of these tabs:
- Assistant tab and select Talk to a human.
- Search tab and click on Contact Us to connect with a support expert.
Moreover, for detailed information about managing authorized users in Intuit, feel free to open this article: Add, edit, and remove authorized users.
Thank you for reaching out, lconti. I hope the information and steps above have clarified your concern regarding managing your users. If you have further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to post a reply. Our team is available to help and looks forward to assisting you further.
