You can customize more than just your invoice! With QuickBooks Online, you can customize your estimates and sales receipts as well. I recommend this article to assist with creating and designing your forms.
However, you can create your template and import it in QBO. You can check this link for more information: Import custom from styles for invoices or estimates.
