Payments

Making sure you'll be able to process online payments in QuickBooks is my priority, @lacasasaddlery. Having issues when applying to this can delay your working progress. That's why, I'm here to provide information about this.

In QuickBooks, there are several reasons why you're denied for taking online payments. One of those is the following:

  • Type of products or services you sell.
  • Industries that are categorized as high-risk merchants.
  • Credit History of the QuickBooks Payments primary account owner.

That being said, I recommend reaching out to the Merchant Support Team to further check what's the exact cause why your application was declined. Here's how:

  1. If you're using QuickBooks Online (QBO), simply click the Help icon.
  2. Then, go to the Search tab.
  3. From there, select Contact Us.
  4. Next, enter a brief description of your concern. Example: QB Payments Application Status.
  5. Then, choose either Start a chat or Get a callback.

If you're using other products, please visit this article for the steps on how to contact the support as well as their operating hours: Contact QuickBooks products and services Support.

On the other hand, you'll want to consider the suggestion of Fiat to use a third-party merchant service application.

When everything is fine, I've attached this awesome resource for guidance in taking and processing online payments: Take and process payments with QuickBooks Payments.

I'd like to know updates on how the interaction with the support goes. If you have additional questions about processing online payments, feel free to add a reply below. I'm always ready to lend a hand. Have a good one and keep safe.
