If you can’t see your country listed below or aren’t sure whether you can connect your bank, please reach out to us, or you can manually upload bank transactions. If your bank is unavailable but you still want to use QuickBooks, you can request your bank be added from inside the app.

Bank feeds are connections that automatically download transactions from your bank account to your accounting software. You can do this seamlessly by connecting your bank account with QuickBooks Online.

How can I set up bank feeds in QuickBooks Online?

To set up your bank feeds in QuickBooks Online you can follow the steps below or check our learn and support page on how to connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online.

To set up bank feeds and connect your bank to QuickBooks Online:

Go to Bookkeeping, select Transactions, then select Bank transactions (Take me there).
Select Connect account on the landing page if this is your first time connecting. Or select Link account if you've already created one.
Search for your bank. You can connect most banks, even small credit unions. Note: If you can’t find your bank but still want to add your transactions to QuickBooks Online, you can also manually upload bank transactions.
Select Continue. Then sign into your bank by entering your banking username and password.
Follow the onscreen steps to connect. Your bank may require additional security checks. It may take a few minutes to connect.
Select any accounts you want to connect like your savings, checking, or credit card. Then choose the matching account type from your chart of accounts in QuickBooks. If you don’t see the right account type in the dropdown check this article on how to add a new account to your chart of accounts.
Select how far back you want to download transactions. Some banks let you download the last 90 days of transactions. Others can go back as far as 24 months.
Select Connect.
