Hi information@conv,
It's great you're using QuickBooks Online with BigCommerce to easily upload your invoices in the system. Having your transactions properly recorded ensures you keep your books accurate. I'll be happy to help you with this.
Whenever you connect a third-party app to QuickBooks Online, the system follows the algorithms in your app when uploading your data. For that matter, I'd encourage you to check for any settings in BigCommerce that would disable the download of your invoices with taxes included in the amount when it shouldn't be. You also want to make sure that your Sales Tax Centre in Quickbooks Online is correctly set up and has your tax codes active. Here's how to proceed for that.
- Go to the Taxes menu.
- Select Sales Tax at the top (Tip: If you use payroll in QuickBooks Online, you may need to select Sales Tax as opposed to Payroll Tax).
- Select Manage sales tax.
- On the Tax agencies tab, locate the tax agency associated with the sales tax rate you wish to apply on your invoice.
- Select Make active if inactive.
- You'll know the sales tax rate has been reactivated when you see Make inactive in the Actions column for that sales tax rate.
Another thing I recommend is to make sure there are no bugs in the software due to a browser issue. To ensure your app or browser is running the program as designed, please follow the troubleshooting steps in this article: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online
