It's awesome to hear that you'd like to connect your PayPal account to QuickBooks Online to facilitate entering your data into your books. I'd be happy to help you with this.
It sounds like you may be trying to connect PayPal via the Banking feature or by using a third-party application from the Apps section and it's asking you for something regarding two-step authentication. If that's the case, I recommend looking into your PayPal account to see what your two-step verification options are, such as turning it off and turning it on. QuickBooks doesn't control the authentication options for third-party services such as PayPal.
If you've already done that and are still having trouble, feel free to reach out to the support team for the app you're using to connect PayPal to QuickBooks or to the QuickBooks Online support team if you're using the Banking feature. Apps tab and choosing the app you're using to find the contact options listed.
