I sent out an invoice and I recieved an email today saying that there was NO unvoice number on it! Can anyone help please?

I sent out an invoice and I recieved an email today saying that there was NO unvoice number on it! Can anyone help please?

Hi @sherille,

 

It’s possible that you opted out the form numbers from your default form style. Let me guide you on how to add it on your forms.

 

Usually, when sending invoices to your customers, the invoice number shows on the PDF and on the subject of your email. To add the invoice number on the PDF, here’s how:

  1. Click on the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Custom Form Styles.
  3. Select the form you use for your invoices.
  4. Click on the Content tab.
  5. Select the top part of the form.
  6. In the form section, tick on the Form numbers checkbox.
  7. Click on Done.

 

To automatically add the invoice number on the subject, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Click on the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Accounts and Settings.
  3. Select the Sales tab.
  4. Enter Invoice [Invoice No.] in the Subject field.
  5. Click on Save.
