1) Closed invoices to undeposited funds 2) Created a bank deposit 3) Now when I go and match in bank the deposit does not appear.

Firstly, there are a few possible reasons why your deposit is not showing up in your QuickBooks Online register.

 

To start, please check the filters in the Register:

  1. Go to the Chart of Accounts tab.
  2. Click View register for the account where you recorded the deposit.
  3. Look for the Clear filter/View All hyperlink above the column headers and click it.
  4. If necessary, click the Filter (funnel icon) above the DATE header and set the filters to All (Reconcile Status, Transaction Type, Payee, and Date).
  5. Click Apply.

 

You can also use the Search field to locate transactions by amount, reference number, or memo:

  1. Go to the Transaction menu and select Banking.
  2. Select the tile for the account you want to review.
  3. Select the For Review tab to start your review.
  4. Select the deposit to expand the transaction.
  5. Choose Find Match.
  6. You can use filters/search to locate transactions. Remember to use a dollar sign or decimal point when searching for dollar amounts.

 

If the deposit is still missing, let's perform basic troubleshooting steps. Issues like this are usually the result of accumulated cache.

 

We can start by accessing your account through a private browser. You can refer to these shortcut keys to open a private window in all supported browsers:

  • Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
  • Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Safari: Command+Shift+N

 

If it works, I recommend clearing your browser's cache so the system can start fresh. You can also switch to a different supported browser to see if it has something to do with your browser.
