Bank transaction

Good morning,

I have a transaction that appears to be a duplicate. I have excluded it and then deleted it, however the next day it pops back up ready to be categized and I have no idea how to get rid of it.

There is no reported incident with the behavior you have encountered with bank transaction keeps showing in for review after excluding them in QuickBooks Online. Know that anything that was matched, will show up in FOR REVIEW again after the linked transaction has been deleted, and can then either be matched to the 1 remaining transaction, or excluded.

 

Since you've already performed the exclude function and still seeing them, let's now run the manual update to refresh the data of your bank feeds. Here's how:

 

  1. Navigate to the Transactions tab menu and select the Bank transactions tab.
  2. Next, click the bank account that you're working with.
  3. Then, select the Update button.

If your bank is connected via standard feeds connection, let's use the steps below:

 

  1. Click on the bank account affected.
  2. Click on the Pencil icon and choose Edit sign in info.
  3. Manually enter your bank's log in detail.
  4. Click on Save and connect.

Then, let's make sure to delete transactions in the Excluded tab first prior to excluding again the transaction shown in the for-review tab.

 

If the same thing happens, let's proceed in clearing your browser's cache. This unusual behavior might be caused by a piled-up cache in the browser. 

 

If the issue persists, I recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. That way, they can further check this behavior with our engineers and help raise an investigation.
