How do I stop bank feed?

I'd be glad to assist you in stopping the bank feed from your account, yrussell.

Once you connect your bank account to QuickBooks, the program will automatically download your data on the Banking page.

If you want to stop your financial institution from transmitting banking data, you have to disconnect your account from online banking.

Before that, make sure that there are no transactions in the For Review tab. Once confirmed that there are no more transactions, you can now disconnect your bank. I'd be glad to show you how:

  1. On the left navigational panel, look for Transactions, then select Bank transactions.
  2. Choose the tile for the bank account.
  3. Click the pencil icon, then select Edit account info.
  4. Click Disconnect this account on the save checkbox. Keep in mind that if QuickBooks is downloading new transactions, you won't see this option. Wait a few minutes for the update to finish and try again.
  5. Hit Save and Close.

Furthermore, I've added a resource you can browse in case you need assistance using bank rules to categorize transactions from your bank: Set up bank rules to categorize online banking transactions in QuickBooks Online

Let me know if you still have further queries managing your bank or anything else about QuickBooks. Please know that I'm looking forward to having you here again in the Community space. Take good care, and have a good one.
