My Paypal is not connecting

My Paypal accounts stopped automatically uploading in March. I think it might have been when I set up 2 factor authentication. But i am not sure though. I turned it off and tried to manually upload but still not working! I cannot upload any of my PayPal accounts by connecting them and I'm not sure how to manually upload paypal transactions, they have pdf statements. The credit card has CSV statements. How do I fix my connection error with Quickbooks self employed and how do I get paypal CSV info from the main account. I may have to manually input. and that means this program may not work for me anylonger but I like it. Please help!

the error:

Something unexpected happened and we couldn't connect to your bank.

Try again in a few hours. (101)

My Paypal is not connecting

I appreciate you for sharing the details of your concern with us, Scott. Let me make it up to you by making sure you get the best help available so this gets sorted out right away.

To check your account securely, I recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. They have the proper tools to look into your account and provide a breakdown of your tax owed and tax payments made. You can follow the steps below to connect with us:

  1. Select Assistant from the top bar.
  2. Enter a brief discussion with your concern.
  3. Click I still need a human.
  4. Choose the way you want to connect with our support team.

You can also visit this article for the detailed steps to contact them: Contact QuickBooks Self-Employed Support.

For now, I suggest requesting a CSV file format from your bank so you can manually import your transactions to your QBSE account. Here's how:

  1. Sign in to PayPal’s website.
  2. Follow the instructions for how to download CSV files of your transactions to your computer. Every financial institution has different steps.
  3. Make sure the date range for the download starts after the last transaction.
  4. Download your transactions.
  5. Save the file somewhere you can easily find it, like your computer's desktop.

Once you have the CSV file handy, make sure that it is in the correct format and follow the steps outlined in this article to manually upload them into QBO: Manually import transactions into QuickBooks Self-Employed.
