where are my Missing current months transactions

I'm here to provide the necessary steps to help you find those missing QuickBooks Online (QBO) bank transactions, Artzy.

First, please know that QBO relies entirely on the data provided by your financial institution. The amount of historical transaction data you can download can vary significantly depending on your bank's policy.

To resolve this issue, you can perform a manual update of your transactions by selecting the affected bank and clicking the Update button on the Banking page.

You can picture this out for reference:

Next, you'll also want to adjust your bank register filters. Missing transactions are often just hidden by incorrect date ranges or applied filters in the register.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon, then select the Chart of Accounts.
  2. Click View Register for the affected bank.
  3. Set the correct date range, then check the filters by going to the Funnel icon located above the Date header.
  4. Select X to remove all other active filters.

If entries are still missing, you can also check the For Review and Excluded tabs on your Banking page. Please ensure to use the date filter on these tabs to match the timeframe when the transactions went missing.

If you still can't locate your bank entries, you may consider manually uploading your missing bank transactions using a CSV file.

Once done, you'll want to categorise and match the bank data to prevent potential duplicate entries, especially if you plan to reconcile.

I'll also share this article for additional information: Transactions not updating.
