Hi Mark So,

When importing timesheets from Deputy, employee and location data needs to exist and match the data from the timesheets being imported.

Are you able to share some light on how exactly you are going about this process?

I have found some really useful information pertaining to Importing Timesheets from Deputy that you can check out using this link here

Would love some more context on this Mark!

Hi Kristin,

I have been following the exact steps detailed in https://support.yourpayroll.com.au/hc/en-au/articles/[removed]-Exporting-Timesheets-from-Deputy-Stan...

I am using the premium edition of deputy instead of the enterprise edition.

I have set up the locations using the same code on both deputy + QBO

I have set up & match the timesheet export code in deputy + employee external ID on QBO

I then export from deputy using keypay payroll direct export, and I get an error message employee not found in keypay.

Hey Mark,

I've just been reading some articles from the Deputy customer support page, it seems as though if the employee names are not EXACTLY the same in Deputy + KeyPay then you might run into some trouble so it might be worth double-checking those for even minor spelling mistake or incorrect upper/lower cases too.

I think it's more than worth sharing these as they might pertain some useful information for yourself:

  1. Exporting to QuickBooks/KeyPay AU - click here

  2. Exporting to Intuit Quickbooks Online - click here

  3. Exporting Timesheets - click here

If you're still running into trouble then it might be worth getting a non-intuit opinion to see if you're missing something.

You can access the Live Chat on Deputy.com. by clicking the Live Chat icon in the bottom right any screen in Deputy.

I would also encourage anyone within the community with experience on Deputy to chime in as well!
