I understand your bank's format for downloading bank statements is in QIF files. However, this file format is unsupported at the moment in QuickBooks Online.
You can try to save the .qif file, rename it to .CSV ofr .qbo file, and import them once more. If you cannot do it, you can find converters on the web.
Please know our product engineers provide updates and adjustments to improve the features and options for the supported file format when importing transactions. As we assess this, I recommend sending feedback about the ads directly to our engineers.

If you look at the forum this has been on the drawing board since as long as qbo has existed
I can import qif files to almost any other programme
