Import a qif file

What in the smoking hec is wrong with this software?

Why cant I import the single most popular file format IN THE WORLD?

Is there any workaround of which you are aware that doesnt involve me spending hundreds of dollars?

All the other accounting software allows me to import a qif file

Why is Intuit so awkward?

Import a qif file

Hi there, zapkvr.

I understand your bank's format for downloading bank statements is in QIF files. However, this file format is unsupported at the moment in QuickBooks Online.

You can try to save the .qif file, rename it to .CSV ofr .qbo file, and import them once more. If you cannot do it, you can find converters on the web.

Please know our product engineers provide updates and adjustments to improve the features and options for the supported file format when importing transactions. As we assess this, I recommend sending feedback about the ads directly to our engineers.

We also make changes and adjustments based on user feedback. Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner.
  2. Select Feedback under Profile.
  3. Share your feedback.
  4. Hit Next to submit.

Post again in the Community if you have further questions about QuickBooks Online. The Community and I will be here to help you.

Import a qif file

The most common financial services software format IN THE WORLD.

Well that's just lazy

If you look at the forum this has been on the drawing board since as long as qbo has existed

I can import qif files to almost any other programme

Why is Intuit forcing me to spend more money for such a basic function?

Pu Thetic.

Import a qif file

$US60.00 sounds hideously expensive for something that ought to be a basic function

Dont we pay enough for Intuit software already?

Its outrageous.
