Importing custom timesheets - EmployeeId Input string was not in a correct format.

Here is the raw csv file saved from excel: ------------------------------------------------------ Employee ID,Date,Start Time,End Time RS,05/03/2022,9:00:00 AM,12:30:00 PM ------------------------------------------------------ I tried different formats for the EmployeeID both unquoted and quoted as "RS" and 'RS' each time it failed. Exactly what id the correct format and why isn't this shown in the article "How to import employee timesheets" ? Regards Damian

Thanks for posting in the Community, ibis1!

You'll need to enter Employee ID instead of RS on your CSV file to have it imported in QuickBooks. Also, you can obtain the employee ID by following these steps:

  1. Go to Employees tab.
  2. Select an employee.
  3. See Employee ID on the Details section.

You can also check on this article for the list of column types available for custom file upload.
