How to make the GST rate show in all accounts? Not all of the GST rates for each account is showing in my Chart of Accounts.

Properly setting your company up will most-likely give you accurate data, elke.

The choices that will appear under the Default GST Code depend on the account you are editing:

• Bank accounts will show all the tax codes as choices.
• Income accounts will only show the GST codes for sales.
• Expense accounts will only show the GST codes for purchases and expenses.

It's also possible that the code was made inactive. Thus, it isn't on the choices for the Default GST Code. Here's how to check the active and inactive GST codes:

1. Select GST on the left menu.
2. Click the Settings button in the upper-right corner and select Edit rates.
3. Click the small gear icon above the ACTION column header.
4. Mark the Include inactive box.
5. Turn on the inactive tax code if necessary.

After that, you can edit the account and assign the Default GST Code again.

Remember that you can only see the GST rates and amounts when you pull up reports or create transactions.
