Has anyone seen the note"Authentification failed input" when trying to email invoice and statements?

Thanks for sharing the exact error message you've encountered, Jacquie. I'll outline some troubleshooting steps below to help you send your sales transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

If you haven't already, email your invoices and statements through a private/incognito window to rule out the possibility of a browser issue. You may refer to the keyboard shortcuts below.

  • For Google Chrome browser: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • For Mozilla Firefox browser: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • For Safari browser: Command + Shift + N

If you're able to send your invoices or statements using a private browser, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. Clearing the cache or cookies is the best way to get a clean slate for your browser. Otherwise, using other supported browsers can be a good alternative too.

We have also received similar reports about being unable to print or preview statements due to the same error you've encountered. That said, I recommend reaching out to our customer support team to add you to the list of affected users.

Moreover, you can check out this article to review the recorded transactions and their statuses in the Sales menu: View sales transactions in QuickBooks Online.

I'm all ears if you have other concerns about sending your invoices and statements in QBO. Just let me know by replying below. Have a great day ahead!
