Hi I have connected my quickbooks to Quickbooks Time. Is there a way to disconnect it? I want to use it as a standalone invoicing product

Thanks for visiting the Community today, @melissa-parsons1. I've got you the two easy ways to disconnect QB Time from QuickBooks Online.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. In your QuickBooks Online account, click Apps on the left-panel menu.
  2. Go to the My Apps tab, then select the Action button for TSheets Time Tracking.
  3. Click Disconnect.
  4. Enter the reason why you want to disconnect and your plans.
  5. Click the Confirm Disconnect button.

 

On the TSheets page. Here’s how:

 

  1. Log in to your TSheets Time Tracking account, then go to SET UP on the left-panel menu.
  2. Select Add-ons, then look for QuickBooks Online Integration in the Add-ons window.
  3. Click the Uninstall button, then Close.

I also wanted to disconnect Quickbooks Time from my Quickbooks Online Accountant file.

 

I've disconnected the App.

 

However, when I enter a single time activity in Quickbooks it still tells me that I should use Approve Timesheets

It's good to know you were able to follow the steps above on how to disconnect your QuickBooks Time account. The message you're seeing when trying to create a Single Weekly Timesheet is due to you've previously synced your QuickBooks Time to your QuickBooks Online account. However, you can ignore the banner and you can always tick on "Please do not show this again" and click on Approve Time to be able to continue entering a Single Weekly timesheet in QuickBooks Online.

 

Furthermore, using QuickBooks Weekly Time Sheets, either you or your employee fills out a Weekly Time Sheet or a Single Activity Time Sheet. 

 

To enter hours in the time sheets:

 

  1. In the QuickBooks Online section, select + New
  2. Select Single time activity or Weekly timesheet.
  3. Select the employee's name and check if the pay period is correct.
  4. Enter the hours.


When you run payroll, your employee's total pay hours are automatically calculated.
