Hello, Traceylee1.


I'm here to share more information about sending invoices as PDF in QuickBooks Self-Employed, and how you can send one.


As of now, the option to email an invoice as a PDF is unavailable in QuickBooks Self-Employed - AU version. With that, I'd suggest sending a product suggestion to our developers. 


  1. Go to the Invoices tab.
  2. Select Invoices.
  3. Click Create Invoice.
  4. Click the Feedback button on the upper-right side.
  5. Enter a few words to elaborate on your suggestion.


As a workaround, you can export the transaction as a PDF and then send it manually to your customer. Let me guide you with these steps:


  1. On the Invoices page, locate the invoice you want to send.
  2. Click the drop-down arrow under ACTION.
  3. Select Export as PDF.
