Let me help you on how to remove the review and pay now button on your emailed invoices.

 

You can change the Additional email option for invoices to Plain text in QuickBooks Online. This will remove the review and pay button when emailing invoices to the customers. Here's how to:

 

  1. Click on the Gear icon.
  2. Select Account and Settings.
  3. Click the Sales tab.
  4. Look for the Online delivery, then hit the pencil icon.
  5. In the Additional email options for invoices field, choose the Plain text.
  6. Click Save, then Done.

Once done, you can try to resend the invoice to your email to see how it looks like.

Changing the format of the emails to Plain text is just a bad work around, not a solution. Have you seen what the plain text emails look like? They are extremely unprofessional.

I simply want to remove the Pay Invoice button from the emails.

Hi contact-thetownr,

 

I understand the significance of being able remove the Pay Invoice button on the invoices sent from QuickBooks Online. At the moment we're unable to completely remove the Review and pay option on the invoices.

 

In the meantime, we can use the work around below by either downloading the invoice as PDF or share a link to your customer. Here's how download the invoice as PDF.

 

  1. Click on the Sales tab.
  2. Locate the invoice and click on the drop-down arrow below Action.
  3. Click on Print.
  4. On the next page click on the Save icon to save in your PC.
  5. From here we can send the PDF invoice through your personal or business email.

To send an invoice link to your customer:

 

  1. Click on the Sales tab.
  2. Click on Invoices.
  3. Locate the invoice and click on the drop-down arrow.
  4. Click on Share invoice link.
  5. Click on Copy link and send it via email to your email to send it to your customers.
