How to Accept credit card payment

Hello there, @rustysplumbing-h.

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community. Let me provide information about the specific app used in QuickBooks Australia for accepting credit card payments.

In QuickBooks Online (QBO) Australia, you can integrate PayPal to accept card payments using the PayPal app. If you've set up this app, your customers can then pay for their invoices with a debit card or credit card, processed by PayPal. They can also pay with their PayPal Wallet.

If you already have a PayPal Business account, add the Accept Card Payments with PayPal app to your QBO account.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Apps (only viewable by admin user).
  2. Search for the Accept Card Payments with PayPal app, then select Get app now.
  3. Grant permission to connect your PayPal account.
  4. Login and enter your password. Then, follow the PayPal prompts.
  5. Select on Go back to QuickBooks Online.
  6. Review account names set up and category for fees and click Done.

Once the setup is complete, you're all set. Then, when you create a new invoice in QBO, you'll have the option to enable card payments via PayPal, giving your customers the ability to Accept card payments with PayPal. Also, don't forget to include your bank details and any important notes on your invoices so that your customers have the information they need to make payments to you.

Moreover, follow the Part 2 section of this article to enable PayPal to sync your transactions into QBO: Set up the Accept Card Payments with PayPal app in QuickBooks Online.

Additionally, feel free to check out this article that answers everything you need to know about setting up the feature in your QBO: Accept Card Payments with PayPal app FAQ.

Please let me know in the comments if you have other concerns about managing invoices and payments in QBO. I'm just around to help. Have a great day ahead!
