If I am creating an invoice and the amount to pay is zero and that is obviously incorrect, what do I do and why is this happening?

Thank you for being here with us, Vanessa. I completely understand the urgency to resolve this so you can accurately invoice your customers.

Accumulated data or other browser-related issues causes unexpected results that can lead to the invoice amount being zeroed out. Have you tried logging in to your account using an incognito or private browsing session?

This can also help us identify if the issue is specific to your account or part of a broader problem. Here's how to open an incognito browsing session:

  1. Open your browser and click on the three dots in the upper-right corner.
  2. Select "New Incognito Window" or "New Private Window" from the dropdown menu.
  3. Log in to your QBO account in the new window.

If you have a different web browser like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, or Microsoft Edge, you can use them as an alternative option.

Then, log in again and verify if you can create and send invoices with the accurate amount.

If you can do this without any issues, return to regular browsing and follow the instructions in this article on how to clear some saved data: Clear Cache And Cookies To Fix Issues When Using QuickBooks Online.

I have a few more articles to share in case you need more guidance and reference when creating invoices in QBO:

Feel free to share any additional concerns or further questions you may have when creating invoices as well as working in QBO, Vanessa. We're just around the corner to assist you. Have a wonderful day!
