Is there a way to have QB pick up the correct custom Sales form (Quotes & Invoices) based on the cust. currency so the correct bank details are given based on currency?

Under custom form styles it seems to allow only one default to be set, and not a default for a particular currency...the alternative would be to have just one invoice form, if it could pick up the correct bank account to print on the form based on currency....but I can't see how to do this either.

Is there a way to have QB pick up the correct custom Sales form (Quotes & Invoices) based on the cust. currency so the correct bank details are given based on currency?

Customizing your invoices to display the appropriate bank details based on the currency is an excellent approach. Let's collaborate so your clients will effortlessly receive the correct information.

While QuickBooks Online doesn't have an automatic form style selection feature based on currency, you can effectively manage this by creating and manually selecting different custom form styles for each currency.

First, let's create a specific custom form style for your preferred currency:

  1. Head to the Gear icon, then select Custom Form Styles.
  2. Click New Style and choose Invoice or Quote.
  3. Navigate to the Content tab. Select the third tile.
  4. Please enter your bank details in your preferred currency in the Footer area.
  5. Set its font size to 10pt and the format to Left.
  6. Hit Done.

Do the same process above for the other currency.

Once you create an invoice for a specific customer with a different currency, click the Customise option and select the appropriate template.
Please see the attached screenshot for visual reference.

Moreover, I recognize that automatically selecting a form style based on currency would streamline the invoicing process. Therefore, I recommend sharing this idea with our product engineers. Many of our best features come from valuable user insights like yours.

Here's how you can do it:

  1. Head to the Gear icon, then click Feedback.
  2. Enter your suggestions and recommendations.

Furthermore, you can send your customer a statement that provides comprehensive details of their associated invoices, payments, and outstanding balances for future reference.

By taking these steps, you can ensure your clients receive invoices with accurate bank details corresponding to their currencies. I'm dedicated to helping your business operate smoothly and efficiently. I wish you a fantastic day ahead, Susan!
