My quick books app hasn't tracked any of my trips for 6 days now, I cannot figure out why it's stopped all settings seem to be the same auto tracking is on, any ideas?

Hi Lisa,

 

It's good to know you're able to check that the auto tracking is turned on in your device. There are different factors affecting mileage/trips to stop working.

 

Let's make sure your device is updated to iOS 12.2 or later to work properly. Check also if the QuickBooks app is updated. Go to your App store and look for updates.

 

Next, check if your device location settings is turned on.

 

For iPhone or iPad:

 

  1. Go to iPhone or iPad settings.
  2. Select QuickBooks Self Employed or QuickBooks Online app.
  3. Select Location, and set to Always.
  4. Turn on the Motion & Fitness, Background App Refresh, and Cellular Data option.
  5. Close the settings. Your phone and app are now set up to track trips in the background.

 

For Android:

 

  1. Select the Menu icon.
  2. Select the Settings.
  3. Select the Mileage settings.
  4. Turn on Track slow speed trips settings and Boost location accuracy.
