Why can I not see my customer list or sent invoices, I also can't create a new invoice, the option isn't there?

Hello theducksnuts,

 

Let me help you check with your concern about the missing customers and sent invoices not shown in your QuickBooks Online account.

 

Are you using a web browser on a computer to access your customers and invoice or are you accessing your account using a mobile app? If you're using the web browser. This is likely caused by a cache-related issue. When a browser's cache data is corrupted or full, it can cause odd behaviors within QuickBooks.

 

To confirm this, we'll want to use an incognito or private browser:

 

  • Google Chrome: Press CTRL + Shift + N.
  • Safari: Press Command + Shift + N.
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + P.

Once done, log in to QuickBooks and check if your Customers and Invoice list are showing from there.

 

If you are using the mobile app, let's uninstall and re-install the app to refresh the application. When you refresh data in the QBO mobile app, it retrieves the most up-to-date information, such as transactions, customer details, and financial reports, from the QBO servers, allowing you to view the latest data on your mobile device.

 

Follow these steps:

 

iOS
 

  • Go to Menu ☰ and tap Help & Feedback.
  • Tap Refresh Data.
  • Note: A message appears Caution. If there was a problem getting your latest QuickBooks Online data, you can refresh it now. It may take a few minutes.
  • Tap Refresh to confirm.
     

Andriod
 

  • Go to Menu ☰ then tap More Options.
  • Tap Settings then Refresh Data.
  • Tap YES to confirm.

 

Then, check your customers list and sent invoice in QBO.
