Hi there,
I am currently downloading individual receipts from Australia Post and then adding the expense/categorising straight from the bank transactions page.
There is usually excess of 20 daily transactions and this is rather time consuming.
If there a way that I can bulk upload the Australia Post data (csv file) to Quickbooks Online and match it against the imported banking transactions?
Thank you
Let me provide some information about your concern, SP-1.
You can upload CSV file to QuickBooks Online like your bills, invoice and bank data. And then, match it later to your downloaded bank transactions. Let me guide you how:
Once done, the bills will show in your Expenses tab section and then can match to the downloaded bank transactions.

Thank you for your response.
Will this process still work when the data being uploaded is the receipt data, not a bill?
I have had a look at uploading the csv file under import invoices and bills but when it comes to the map your column headings section I don't have the required data to complete this.
There is also a section at the bottom of the import data page where it says 'need to bring in sales receipts, invoices and expenses?' and there is a link to an external app.
Is an external app the only way to upload expenses?
Thanks for getting back to us, SP-1.
Yes, you can use third party application to help import sales receipts and expenses in QuickBooks Online. However, we're unable to recommend which app to use. I recommend checking in the Intuit App Center to help check supported applications in QuickBooks Online Australia.
Furthermore, for expense receipts we can use the receipt capture option in QBO. Check this link for reference: Upload your receipts to QuickBooks Online.
