Can I run a report to show what total hours have been paid for a 12 month period for one of my employees rather than manually calculating via their payslips?

Hi -keehnautos-com-,

Thanks for posting in the Community!

You can run the Detailed Activity report in QuickBooks Online Payroll to help you get the total hours worked for an employee. Then, export the file to excel. Here's how:

  1. Click on the Employees tab.
  2. Click on Reports.
  3. Click on Detailed Activity Report.
  4. Set a Date range, Pay schedules, and other fields.
  5. Click on Run report.
  6. Click on Expand All to see the details.

Then, you can export and print the report. Here's how:

  1. You also have the option to export this report to CSV, Excel or PDF.
  2. From there the report can be printed from the PDF format.
  3. Click the Download button.
  4. Select from the drop down button what format you want to export.
  5. The download will begin automatically.

Feel free to post again in the Community if you have further concerns. I'll be around to help you.
