How do I fix a payrun error with Journals failed when exporting to Quickbooks?

You can manually click the Export to QuickBooks button on the pay run if you've encountered an error when trying to export the payroll journals to QuickBooks Online.

Here's how:

1. Click on the Employees tab.
2. Click on Pay Runs.
3. Locate and select the pay run affected.
4. Click on the Export to QuickBooks right inline with Pay run Actions button.

That should help you export your payroll journals to QuickBooks Online.

If you've done the steps above and the payroll journal still did not export. We'd recommend checking your Payroll Settings and verify your Default Chart of Accounts is completely set up.

1. Click on the Employees tab, and then click on Payroll Settings.
2. Click on Chart of Accounts.
3. Click on Default Chart of Accounts.
4. Make sure all account field is assigned with an account.
