How to run a report for debtors by currency?

Hi James, I contacted the Help centre and after talking to Jessica for about half an hour, she resolved that I can't have the report I want!

I have debtors for several different currencies. When you run an Aged Receivable Aging Summary, it groups all the debtors together ( even though we have separate GL codes). The only report she though could work was the Transaction report filtered by currency, unpaid invoices and the date. The problem with this report is that I revalue the debtors at EOM and this report doesn't take into account revaluations, so it will never agree to the AR Summary. Do you think there is another solution? She was going to forward it to the "engineers" . Thanks for your help. I think I want too much out of the system. Julieanne

Hi Julieanne, great question. While true that we cannot filter by currency, my next best suggestion would be to filter to customers with a particular currency. While perhaps a little finicky, it's the next best solution I can come up with. Alternatively, (if you weren't already using this for something else), you could use locations to track transactions paid in different currencies, although this would require a bit of manual work, especially for historic transactions. It's a shame we don't have a better solution for you, but there are the only work-arounds I can think of! Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
